Get ready to have a good time for a worthy cause! Timmy’s Tour de Shore will provide all registered riders with coffee and drinks before you set off on the ride.  During the event, and at the Challenge Ride Rest area, we’ll provide some beverages and snacks to make sure eveyone has the energy they need to have a great day.   At the conclusion of the ride we will have some drinks to help you cool down, as well as some snacks.

Timmy’s Tour de Shore will be based at the northern end of Fort Hancock.  We’ll be calling the event area “TimmyTown”.    Whether you're waiting for riders to return, or you’re back from your own ride – Timmy Town will be alive with music, facepainting, balloon artists, a ‘bounce house’ for the kids, crafts and more.
The 2008 Tour de Shore is:
Sunday, October 12, 2008

All participants registered by September 28, 2008, will receive a Tour de Shore T-Shirt and wristband! Goody Bags will be available while supplies last.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I find my way back to TimmyTown if I get lost ?

All riders will be given cue sheets – maps of the Challenge and Family Ride routes.  If you get lost look for signs that point to TimmyTown.  If you’re really lost – just use your cell phone and call the help number that will be provided.

What if I can't make it to the end?

If you find yourself out of energy, or with a bike that needs repaired, look to your cue sheet and then call for help.   We’ll have a “SAG” Wagon to ride to your rescue.
